Assistant Chef

Responsibilities
- Preparing food.
- Cooking under supervision of head chef and alone.
- Assisting head chef in maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
- Deputising for head chef on days off.
- Covering other kitchen staff on days off.
- Assisting in other areas of the hotel on changeover days.
- Help with other hotel and resort duties as required by the manager.
Minimum requirements
- Honesty and integrity.
- No criminal record.
- Previous cooking experience, and enthusiasm for cooking.
- Knowledge of health and food hygiene procedures.
- Flexible.
- Cheerful and outgoing.
- Smart conventional appearance.
- Positive team member.
- Demonstrate initiative.
The employee will be required to provide
- One set of chef's whites.
- Contribution towards cost of uniform.

Duration
May - September. Shorter contracts available.

TJM operates in resorts in France, Spain and Newquay - UK. Employees may be required to move to another resort at any time during the season.
